K-8 General Music
Where we Sing, Dance, Play, Listen, Work, and Learn
Greetings!
I am very excited to be the music specialist at Stone Elementary! This is my 23rd year as a teacher, and I love using all the wonderful materials and instruments at Stone to have new music experiences with the students.
A little information about me: I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, where both my parents were music teachers for 35 years before they retired. When I got married, my husband and I taught in southern Wisconsin for a while before moving to Asia to teach at international schools in China, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. We moved back to Chicago in 2018 to be close to our family. We love watching movies, cuddling with our 2 cats Nox and Lumos, camping, hiking, and traveling together. My daughter, Cora, is a Senior at Senn High School, and my son Isaac, is a Freshman, also at Senn. My husband, Jozsef, works in the solar energy industry.
