Introduction

This is my seventh year at Stone Scholastic Academy. I am proud and excited to be returning as a Learning Specialist and Social Studies Teacher. I will be co-teaching 7th grade Language Arts and 7th and 8th grade Social Science with each of the content teachers. Inclusion allows two teachers to co-teach within one classroom and gives our students a great opportunity to have two educators at the same time, bringing class size down and providing individualized instruction. I will also be teaching 7th grade Social Science, a subject and course of study very close to my heart. As a native Chicagoan, I have a strong appreciation of the roots of this wonderful city as well as the progression of change throughout the years. 
 
I have called Chicago home most of my life, briefly leaving during college, and grew up here in Rogers Park. I still live nearby and enjoy spending my free time going to the beach, traveling, spending time with family and cooking.
