Hello! My name is Jessica Chong and I will be the 5th grade Social Studies and Science teacher at Stone this year. This will be my ninth year teaching and my second year here at Stone Scholastic Academy, with my previous seven years of teaching being in Urbana-Champaign (my alma mater).
My favorite parts of teaching include building relationships and getting to know each student, encouraging curiosity and a love of learning, and communicating all the great things your child is accomplishing at school.
When I am not at school, I enjoy exploring new cities and National Parks, listening to live music, and burying my nose in a good book!
