CAFE (Community and Family Engagement)

About the CAFE

The Stone Academy CAFE is a network of parents and teachers who work to support the school by sponsoring events and activities that promote school spirit, provide an opportunity for families and kids to socialize outside the classroom, complement in-school activities and build our relationship with the community. Until early 2021, the CAFE was known as the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). 

The Stone Academy CAFE organizes and sponsors programs such as the new family orientation, the Stone Carnival, the Welcome Back Picnic, the Winter dance, and the end-of-the-school-year picnic. The CAFE also conducts the Scholastic Book Fair and orders Stone Wear.

Mission

The mission of the Stone CAFE is to build successful partnerships between school, home, and the community to the benefit of all involved. Our active CAFE will provide you with opportunities to meet other parents and staff through many events sponsored throughout the year.  Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:15 pm. All Stone Families and teachers are invited.
